Militsa Samardzija (1959–2023) was devoted to her family and valued the importance of staying connected to those she loved. She believed in supporting her community and carried herself with quiet generosity and care.

In her memory, gifts were directed to the Samardzija-Gutesha Family Fund at the DeKalb County Community Foundation. Through this Fund, her legacy continues to reflect her family’s commitment to giving back and strengthening DeKalb County.
